Great places for girls to go on tour

It’s always great to go on holiday, whoever you go with. But a trip with a bunch of your girlfriends can sometimes be the most fun. You’re all like-minded, and if you’re planning a trip together, you’re likely to all want to do similar things.

Superb St Tropez

It’s long been the place to party on the French Riviera, and there is a huge choice of different hotels in fabulous St Tropez, but for a really cool stay in the thick of the action, then head to the Kontiki village where you’ll find bijoux beach hut accommodation directly on the sands of beautiful Pampelonne beach. You won’t be roughing it by any stretch of the imagination, though. These ‘huts’ are air-conditioned and come equipped with all mod cons including wifi.

There’s even a dishwasher; although you might not be planning on doing any cooking! You’ll feel like you’ve arrived on an exotic Thai beach without the ten-hour flight. Just a short stroll along the sand will take you to some of St Tropez’s most famous beach restaurants – Club 55, Nikki Beach and plage de Tahiti.

Hedonistic Las Vegas

Sin City has always been a great place for girls on tour to have some fun. As well as the casinos and the chance to try your luck at the poker and blackjack tables, there are some amazing live shows that you can catch while you’re in town. With more and more celebrities like Britney Spears and Mariah Carey doing Vegas residencies each year, you could plan a trip to coincide with one of your favourite performers’ shows, or just take a flier and see what’s on when you get there.

If you’re not feeling confident about your gambling skills, you can always play online slots and other casino games before you fly out to Vegas, or even while you’re there having some chill-out time in your lovely hotel room before going out for the night. Las Vegas accommodation choices are almost endless; from high-end luxury like you’d find in one of the big casino hotels such as the MGM Grand or the relatively bijou Cromwell (which with only 188 rooms is very exclusive compared with most Vegas hotels) through to any of the more basic hotel chains like Red Roof Inn or Howard Johnson that you’ll find further from the Strip. It all depends on how much you want to pay on where you rest your head versus having more spending money in your wallet for the duration of your trip.

Adventure combined with pampering
