I am so excited! There’s only a week and a half left before I move into my new home. A new period of life, the next step becomes reality. I can’t believe it is really happening. So it is almost moving time.

OMG it really is almost time to move!

I have waited so very long for this moment.

A serious future with nightly snuggles and potential wedding bells! Just kidding. Me and my boyfriend, Joren are together for almost six years now. We are soulmates, best friend and lovers all in one. All I need in this life of sin is me and my boyfriend. He is just that special person and I really don’t believe that good relationships just happen. It takes so much time and patience from both sides. But ey If you want to be together, you will fight for each other right?

A big new step

It is a big new step, but in the same way, the dreamiest time of life. It’s like I am on a pink cloud again. I love being creative, so does my boyfriend. That’s way we make a lot ourselves. We have so many ideas and plans, that we always have to consider what we are going to do. Most of the time we agree. We both love the urban and cosmopolitan style. But I will tell you more about the interior design, colours and all that stuff later.

What should you do before a move

Moving pretty much always takes longer than you think it’s going to take. So, be smart and plan ahead. I will tell you the basics of how you can pack your home. There are many more details, don’t forget.

There are a few things you can do before it is the day. For example, you can go trough every room to decide what you eventually can rid of. I really can advice you to pack only things you really like. It’s like a fresh start. Throw to trash into the dash.

When you start packing the things that you still want in your new place. I also really would recommend to label and number each box. It can be very useful to know what’s in it and the room it’s destined for.

Aim to finish your general packing a few days before your moving date. The day itself will be very stressful.
