I Just Want to Feel the Sun Warm My Skin

But for now I can only dream of the sun.

I want to be laying on my own private beach, with beautiful clear water and soft white sand. I want to feel the sun beating down on me, warming my skin. I want to listen to the waves gently lapping against the shore. I want to feel a gentle breeze and smell the ocean air. I want a good book in one hand and a better Margarita in the other. I want to be alone and at peace with the world.

I may not complain because I am going on VACAY to Barcelona next Sunday. But e all complain sometimes right? Even if you argue that you are the happiest person in the world, you still complain sometimes.

There is something really going wrong with the climate. Certain types of extreme weather events with links to climate change have become more frequent and intense, including prolonged periods of heat, heavy downpours, and, in some regions, floods and droughts. Actually it does not rain all that much… but the idea that it may rain at any time gives you that feeling. Normally I was already wearing short skirts and dresses. But this year…
